Viva Las Vegas!
Emily and Ryan (My brother and sister in law) had the fabulous idea of us all meeting in Vegas for a fun-filled weekend. Now, this took some tag teaming (Thanks Em!) to convince Trev, but we were successful. I have never been a huge fan of Vegas, but this trip showed me a whole new side of Vegas! Here are some pictures...Thanks for taking them EM!
We spent Sat night at the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) finals. It was so much fun.
On Sunday, we went to see The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. Words can not descibe how incredible it was. Even TREVOR loved it....He was so sweet to do all of this for me.
The weekend was entirely too short and I was so sad to say good bye to Ryan and Em AND Trev. However, Trev and I only have 10 days until we are together....with no more good byes. Yes, folks.... 10 days till I move to Idaho, 24 days till the knot is tied.
Loving life.

I am Madly in Love with November
So most normal Americans associate November with Thanksgiving and turkey. This November, I have more to be grateful for than ever before....the turkey doesn't.
THIS IS THE MONTH I GET MARRIED!!!
Now, those married friends of mine...did you go through this wierd realization period of your engagement? You know, the time when you look at your life and think, "HOLY COW. When did I grow up? Am I old enough to get married?"
It really is wonderful.
I have also decided I am writing a book. There are SO many things people never told me about being engaged or getting married. Here are a few I have compiled through various experiences:
1) Satan will try everything in his power to prevent your marriage from happening. If he realizes he can't break you down in the obvious way, he'll try other methods. I have had so many challenges in this past month. Yet, there is no way he will win.
2)Be EXTREMELY organized when gathering addresses for announcements. IF you don't, you will lose them and get confused and end up sending multiples to some and nothing to others.
3)Love your dress.
4) Do not spend all your money on decorating your first home/apartment. It is only temporary housing and plus, if your husband's like mine, investing is key at this point in your life.
Does anybody else have lessons they learned while being engaged?
