Lazy Summer

Things Treyson enjoys about summer:
1. Not wearing pants
2. Pooping a lot so I can be naked a lot
3. Going on jogs with mom. Well, more like brisk walks b/c she is extremely out of shape. still.
4. Drooling. buckets.
5. Not eating a lot. I'd rather smile than eat.
6. Not sleeping. Summer means late nights and no naps. apparently.

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day. What a special day. Thanks to the many who risked, and gave, their lives so I can be free.

Especially to my favorite vet. My brother Ryan (and his gorgeous wife, Kali prego w/ my perfect niece).

(Trey LOVES riding in the semi.)
I don't even have anything witty to say. These pictures are so beautiful to me, and probably even to you.

WHAT do you do all day?

I've worked my whole life...a long 24 years (ha). Now, I'm lucky enough to be able to stay home with Treyson, but I get SO bored. I'm not the craftiest type person (though I try and go through phases). I thought I'd be insanely busy with a baby, but, more often than not, I find myself with NOTHING to do. Especially with Trevor gone so much.

I have no beach to go to or anything like that (the fields of cows don't provide too much stimulation either). I can only read so many books to Trey. I can only go on so many walks. I can only mop so many times. SO, please do tell me what the heck u do all day once you are a SAHM with one baby. I'm starting to go insane.

Oh, and for those who care. (cough. no one.) Treyson is sleeping a little better. We figured out he HATES his crib and only likes to sleep in his cradle. SO we put the cradle IN the crib and hope he grows accustomed sooner than later.

Best. Day. ever.

After every bad day, there comes a good one.

Trevor took off a HALF day to spend with us. This is extremely rare to see him during the daytime hours. He works 6 days a week, long hours, and on Sunday, he's in meetings ALL day. It's so hard for me. I won't lie. I MISS HIM!!!

We went to see Trevor's little sister win state tennis, and then went to dinner and shopping. It's amazing how the simple things, like grocery shopping together mean so much to us. Those of you who husbands get weekends off, and work "normal" hours? feel lucky!

Trey's been screaming almost all evening (he's in his swing "drifting" in and out right now..).
His nose is completely stuffed up and his fever is still in affect. Poor baby.

Quick Trip

We went down to Utah for a short 24 hour trip for Trevor's cousin's (Hootie and Chrissi) temple sealing. It was a very special occasion we were so glad to witness. I just love Trevor's cousins and their families. I've never had cousins around my age, so it's fun for me to be around them. Treyson was also able to meet everyone, including his great grandma Roche.
Trev's cousin, Justin and Tiffany Roche

We were supposed to see some friends, but Treyson had a hard weekend. Several meltdowns and poop encrusted outfits later, we had to cancel plans. I was sad not to see Morgan...but this is life as a mom.I love this picture. Doesn't Trey look older?
The best part? Spending a Saturday with Trevor. Do we realize how rare this is?

A little about Trevor.

This is how Trevor babysits.
Notice swing with child facing the turned out TV screen.
Surely on O'Reilly.

These are Trevor's Jeans. Covered in cow crap.
And you thought YOUR laundry was bad.
I love you dear Trevor.

Little Man

3 months. You: fart really loud. burp really loud. try to sit up. laugh at everything your dad does. poop once a day. pee more than any human being i know. hate tummy time. get nasty rashes on your face/head. like to chew on your whole fists. like when dad makes a "mooooo" sound (he thinks you're going to be a rancher). cry when u get lonely. reach and grasp toys. drool buckets. wear 6 month size clothing. have the beginnings of a big forehead/head. like to read baby einstein "What's in the Pond?" hate the car seat. love your swing. have random sleeping habits. some nights, sleep all night. others? up all night. (lovely) act like you're 15 at times.

What the..

Sometimes, Trey is nice. and cute. and i want to eat him.

Sometimes, Trey is naughty. like today. and last night. and the night before. and sometimes, mom REALLY wants dad to come home. (he won't be home till 830 tonight tho. and he left at 5am. he is nuts.)
someone explain to me why he's so out of whack. it started at my parents house. he's drooling buckets. is it too early to start the teething process at 3 months?? SURELY.

More.

going to church.

Meetings

Trey met a LOT of people! This is his great grandpa, "Gramps". Due to a weakened immune system from a bone marrow transplant, Gramps got chicken pox and couldn't be around Trey! They had to meet through the glass door!
His Great Uncle Randy.

Great Aunt Kathy
BROOKIE! Best friend from HS.

We're BACK!

We spent a fun week in Kansas, my homeland. Treyson spent a ton of time meeting friends and family. I totally spaced taking pictures, but did manage a few. Lots of posting ahead.

Traveling with the little man wasn't as bad as I expected. He slept almost the whole way. The lull of the airplane motor was very soothing. Plus, every leg of the trip, we had a whole row of seats to ourselves. SO nice. Here he is on his first plane trip.
