Adoration

You should probably consider printing these photos and hanging them on your wall.

They are THAT cute.

(And yes, they look this cute sickly)
All three babes have been hit with the snot nose. Must be that time of year.
I am on a quest to NOT have children with crusty noses and coughs.
I will not, I repeat, will not be "that mom".
Knock on wood.

We played hooky/hookie? from church today. Didn't want to infect the world with our germs.

It was fun to be home ALL together. I don't think anything in the world makes me happier.

Maybe we should skip church every week?

(That's a joke mom. I promise I won't.)

Some Days...

Some days being a mom are really REALLY hard.
Like, I cry a lot hard.
Yesterday was one of those days.
7 months of exhaustion hit.
Trevor was gone again.
I haven't had a break in weeks.
And I found myself thinking, "HOW am I going to do this again tomorrow?"
ungrateful Andrea strikes again.

And then, my sister in law showed me some of the pictures she took of our family at my sister's wedding.
And I was reminded of how truly "beautiful" everything about my life is.
The hard times are challenging for me.
But, they are always followed by good times.

And, some day, I will master this positive outlook deal.
Why does it come SO easy to some (My best friend Lacy...), and others, like me, struggle?

Thanks Kali, for making my family look as perfect as they really are. ;)

Impossible

Reagan staring at our dog. Treyson staring at a tractor driving by.
Treyson trying to be scary (unsuccessfully). Oakley staring at the dog. R laugh at dad.

Treyson getting ready to chuck pumpkin across the lawn. Bird poop behind his head. O laughing at dad. R, back to the dog (she loves animals. and birds. and cuddling. Guess we should have named her Tenley after all...)

So, I have some friends who are really good photographers. I, for one, am NOT in that category. I, for the life of me, can NOT comprehend how these women manage to get good photos of one child, much less three. Someone is always looking else where, making a ridiculous face or screaming. The lighting is never perfect (yes, we have a "fancy" camera" No, I have no idea how to use it). But, it is what it is, and these Halloween babies are precious.

We went to a Halloween carnival at the High school the other night. Trevor had the biggest sale of the year the day after, and he still took the time to go. Impressive, ESP if you know Trevor. I am grateful for him. The babies were the hit of the party (aren't they everywhere? Those twins...) and Treyson ate enough sugar to send us all diabetic. I ehco the sentiments of every other mom blog, I LOVE THE FALL. It's Trevor's busy time but it always seems to go by quick since there are SO many fun things to keep me and the kids busy.

We Survived!

My favorite picture. They're ALL interacting.

sigh.

Treyson, take a picture with your sisters.
No mom, I'm Super GROVER!
His dad will LOVE this pose.
eating straw.
Oakley.

Nothing make T happier than a tractor and his boots.
So today, I about pulled my hair out.
Solution?
Express all my frustration by making a decision that could possibly send me over the edge.
Take my brood to the pumpkin patch solo.

I call it a minor loss of all sanity.
The heavens were smiling down on us today. It went PERFECT. Like, I'm not lying to make you think I'm the most functional mother alive (uh. we're past that point right?). It really went amazingly - well, minus T pooping his pants when he got lost in the straw maze ALONE - and we all had fun!

Seriously. Who needs a dad? Moms can do anything!

I was sweating profusely as we loaded up, but left with a bunch of sunflowers, a few pumpkins,
two sleeping babies, and a very big smile.

(Few new posts below!)

Together

The girls are interacting more and more. It's seriously the COOLEST thing about having twins thus far. Sometimes, I catch them just STARING at each other probably wondering who the heck the other is. It's amazing to think these two little spirits knew each other before they came to this Earth and knew they would spend their whole experience on this Earth, together. How lucky are they?

BARN

So, I wake up the other day, and there is a barn being built in my back yard.
SURPRISE!
I ask for and elliptical and I instead, get a barn. Betcha can't say that's happened to YOU! :)
Not quite sure what I'll do with a barn......

Maybe move Trevor's bed out there?

kidding.

most nights.

Treyson wanted to go out and check things out during the girls' morning nap. Of course, he was in picture posing mood.

Carved

For Family Home Evening this week, we invited some friends over to carve pumpkins. Treyson was disgusted by the guts of the pumpkin and had to wear a "glove."

Oakers

Oakley has spunk. Her newest habit is pulling her blankets over her head. I have no idea why she does itt but I swear she knows it's funny. She's starting to crawl and leaving her chubbo sister in the dust.

(The girl looks more like Treyson by the day. Funny, because as a newborn, Reagan looked just like him....)

Porch Picnic

Treyson wanted to go on a picnic today, but the babies were in testy moods so the front porch is as far as we got. I've had a lot of mom guilt not being able to take TReyson to all these amazing places simply because of the twins. I'm realizing now, what is most fun to him, doesn't require much effort.
We watched all the farmers' tractors drive by, ate hot dogs and tomatoes (and peas for the babies), got super excited when the mail man brought Halloween treats from MiMi and practices trick or treating about 190893 times with the new treat bucket. I had to explain to Treyson that screaming "I WANT CANDY NOW!" when someone answersthe door, is probably not the best idea.
Here's some pics of our adventure on our front porch (Or rather, front step....)

Jumping stepping stone from stepping stone. (Trevor wants to pour concrete here...I'm torn. Trey loves these little stones as ugly as they are)
Just a note. Usually Treyson is dressed....but we're doing potty training round 2 and it's easier for him to just have undies...
"Sam is soft!"
"MOMMY It's Mimi's dog, Sam! I go on airplane and see MiMi and Papa" (True story mom. direct quote.)
I asked him to show me how excited he was for his package.
