In a Name

Since we are only in Rexburg for a few months, I have been substitute teaching. It is actually so much fun. I work when I want (which is pretty much every day) and teach whatever class/grade I want. Love it! This week, I am teaching a Kindergarten class. They are SO precious, but oh so entergetic.

Today, I asked them if they remembered my name. One onery boy raised his hand and shouted "MRS. COCKROACH" Then all 28 exploded in giggles. It was very funny. I just hope they don't think I LOOK like one!

hehe :) I'm glad you're teaching. I know how it felt to sit at home and truthfully, it got boring after a while. It feels good to be productive!! I'm sure you agree.

Hahaha! Cute...p.s. your post about your dream house made me look at houses differently. I found mine here in NYa about 25 mins outside of the city, they live around the corner from the family I nanny for...I hope I get enough courage to take the picture. I told one of my boys that I love the house and he's like that's not even the main house! It's gorgeous!

haha that is so funny! my students ask me the weirdest things! So, you really like substitute teaching? I'm thinking about doing it next year instead of trying to find a full time teaching job. Do you miss having the same kids everyday and building a relationship with them? Or is it more fun to mix it up all of the time?
