My mom's birthday was two days ago. Last year, everyone forgot her birthday. This year, I didn't forget.
sort of.
I planned our Kansas visit on the week of her birthday. (After all, Trey is the best present EVER!) I bought her a real present a weeks in advance (which should be there any day, mom. It's being hand made. I know. fancy.). I told her happy birthday a few days prior (while I was in town) so i wouldn't forget. BUT, nevertheless, on Friday, I didn't call to tell her happy birthday.
I guess I forgot.
BUT does all my preplanning somehow make up for it? Do I somehow get credit for showing SOME progression from last year?
I'm just horrible at remembering birthdays. I even forgot my own last year.
We didn't forget. We're just on our own time schedule around here.
So from us all, be it two days retarde,
Happy Birthday Mom/Cindy/MiMi.
As I get older, I truly see and understand all she has sacrificed and done for myself and my siblings.
It's amazing.
AND, might I add, she looks dang (there.) good for having 5 children and enduring 18 years of hell raising this horrid, hormonal teenage girl.

Love you Mom.
really cute pics of treyson below!

Yes, it counts. And take that naughty word off this post about me. Sheesh! I love you baby.
Where in the world have I been. I love all your new posts. Trey is the cutest little guy there is.
and my mother-in-law was a city girl who was taken to paducah texas for 20 years (while james was growing up) and loved it. She wishes she could go back everyday. So you may just end up loving it!
I don't understand why she wants to go back because they were literally in the middle of no where. NO neighbors for 30 minutes and lived on 150,000 acre ranch. 150,000, madness!
Your mom is beautiful! I hope I look like her when I am a Grandma!
