Friday night, we went to the rodeo. Rodeos are not "special" outings for us like they are for many of you. It's sort of just part of our life around here, but they are still fun. We went to this rodeo to see our friends, the Murdocks, little guy Colt muttin bust. If you are like me 3 years ago, I had no idea what the heck "muttin bust" meant. Now I do. Now I know what my children will be forced to participate in. They will strap themselves to a large, crazy sheep and hold on for dear like while the sheep runs, bucks, and jumps. awesome. Trevor did it (before they made you wear helmets even). He hated it. Cried like a little baby every time. BUT, his father was a college national bull riding champion 2 years in a row; hence, Our boys are not allowed to cry.
Oh heaven help me. I can't even watch OTHER peoples' kids do it. I usually have to close my eyes......

It's just wonderful.
Could he perhaps be his dad's mini-me?
Here is a video of Muttin Bustin for those who are still confused.

Trey is so cute, and I love the Muttin Bustin!
I remember doing that-it's an Idaho thing for sure! When they get older they graduate to cows and they are a lot more fun to ride!
