Let's first establish. I am NOT a shopper.
Correction: I AM a shopper if things are 75% off. I just don't understand paying full price for anything. Especially when you know it's already been marked up 300% from the cost of production. Stick it to the man.
(I have struggles, this we know.)
(I have struggles, this we know.)
However, this creating of two female children is causing me strife. Perhaps, it wouldn't be a huge deal to spend $25 on a nice dress for baby. BUT, TWO nice dresses at once? $50? That's a weeks worth of groceries.
These are the struggles I have. Yes, my life is SO hard. But if these things were staring you in the face on a daily basis, you would struggle too. RIGHT?
So here's to a not so subtle hint to all my rich parents/inlaws/grandparents/aunts/uncles/second cousins/long lost millionaire best friends.
(And no, none of those exist)

You are hilarious, Andrea. I'm laughing out loud here at my computer right now.
How about I get a part-time job at Gap for the discount?
:)lol I agree! It sucks buying matching clothes for the twins. sooooo expensive! No worries my friend. I will send you some!
ohhh and Gap just did a buy one get one free deal! Last week! I bought the twins some summer clothes. I bought that yellow sweater you have on there. when Old navy did the buy one get one free sweater.
sorry my point...watch for the buy one get one free deals. that will help a ton!
a: i am so jealous of your baby girls and looking at the pics of all those amazing clothes makes me want to cry. i really hope HF gives me a girl someday. :(
b: i would love to know how on earth you only spend 50 on groceries a week. we spent roughly 150 a week. teach me your ways woman. i would love to only have a 50 weekly grocery bill!
uh.. I'm not even going to comment on the $50 a week for groceries?? what?? not happening over here.. add about $100 more for my weekly food/grocery bill??
Anyway, I have that mustard yellow cardigan in hot pink (one for Claira, one for Abby) bought during the buy one get one free event at old navy. I pair it with this skirt:

If you have not bought this for the twins yet.. do it! it's on a MAJOR sale! it is soooooo stink'n cute on! I just got it for abby last week and I am dying over how cute it is on her!
My contribution to the twins wardrobe is on it's way :) should be there by Saturday! I love your baby style and hopefully these things fit it perfectly :)
I hear ya! I've decided that stuff I get on clearance, I'll get two of, but other than that I just get one and they share. It drives my mom nuts because she thinks the same baby is always in the same clothes so she mixes them up in pictures (even though they're fraternal...). I was given a lot of matching stuff though, so it's worked out pretty good. I LOVE baby girl clothes, but I wish they were a little cheaper than what I would pay for something for myself! Shouldn't they be cheaper? I mean, they use less fabric, right? I don't get it.
i swear every 5 seconds gap is having 40% off. q gets a few things new every couple weeks because it's so cheap.
Andrea, if it's not a huge pain would you mind emailing me and telling me what stores you found these clothes at? I saw a few of the things at Old Navy but I'd love to check the rest of them out, too. Not that I have money to buy them for Macie but a girl can dream, right? :) My email is gkynaston@gmail. Thanks!
There are so many cute clothes out there that are so tempting when it comes to little girls, and sometimes you have to give in.... but most times wait until it goes on sale....it always does!
