Oakley in her zebra costume. Reagan in her leopard costume. And Treyson, in his dinosaur costume. However, Treyson screamed from about 6pm on. Refused to put on his costume. Refused to trick or treat. Turns out, he has a sinus infection (along with his mother and sick dad)and was miserable - as I sat trying to FORCE him to live out all my childhood dreams.
Great move Andrea.
So basically, Halloween was a bust. We didn't trick or treat. We mostly sat around in our misery and argued about how I am too over the top with holidays.

ohh I love it. Finally someone posts a REAL halloween. halloween night was not very pretty here either. We drug ourselves out the door for a few family members on the farm. By the end of it, Roxy was pantless, and Ruby wouldn't get out of the car. Even Meg was mad we had to go. She wanted to stay home. JEeesh. the 8 year old was a pain too. I swear 2 or 8 kids are stinkers sometimes!
poor treyson though. being sick is no fun, and a sinus infection is horrible!
Men don't understand why holidays and creating a good memory for our kids is important to us ;) you go ahead and continue to make big deals of the holidays! The kids WILL thank you for it one day. You win some, you loose some.. I bet next year will be SOOO fun!
