The Week

So in the past week, our heater broke. Our car broke. Our water went out. My phone bit the dust. Trevor got called for jury duty the week we are supposed to be in Kansas (still hoping we can get out of that one considering T hasn't been back in over 2 years, me in over 1 year). Can we say the PITS?

Last night, we were discussing the events and how mean it made both of us. We laughed as we reflected on how blessed we really are. 3, gorgeous, smart, healthy kids. All our needs met. Financial peace. A roof over our heads. The full gospel of Jesus Christ. A relationship, albeit inperfect, stable and true. What the heck can we complain about?

The richness in life is from these three little buggers.

Being Buzz Lightyear. Duh.
They stand at our back door for LONG amountsof time, watching dad work outside.

Christmas Day

Trey hates pictures now so this picture is PRICELESS to me.

Trey with every. single. TS figurine, screaming at his sister.

Oakley had the worst day! SO sleepy.

Treyson. Spoiled rotten by his aunts.

A little glassy eyed, but loving their present from Big Bama.

O was more interested in sleeping.

Christmas Angel.

Trey and cousin Layla, jumping.

Treyson was totally overwhelmed. Next year, two presents. Two presents.

His favorite present was the cow, Lester, who now graces our back yard.

Just want I've always dreamed of.

Did I mention he is a midget cow? Yep. Total reject.

After presents we got dressed up in our coordinating outfits (which, I totally made. I'm proud due to the fact, I STRUGGLE in my sewing abilities.) Then, headed to church for Trevor's FAVORITE meeting - almost 2 hours of SINGING.

Then headed to Bama and Grampa's house for more presents.

I got some socks. Trevor got an Xbox Kinnect.

Treyson got about 7800 toys.
Those grandparents....spoiling that blonde boy! The legacy of fair haired favorites continues. :)

Happy Christmas sweet babies!

Going to Church

FINALLY got Trey (OH! and me...I EXIST!) in a picture!

What our life is really like.
Still a heartbreaker.....but REFUSES to take photos.

Pretty Girls at 10 months

My daughters are really developing into their "look". They're obviously still babies, but growing more different looking each day. O looks just like Trey with more feminine features (altho, if you ask me, Trey's really "pretty"). R looks like me as a baby. R weighs a few pounds more than O, but she works out constantly and isn't as interested in food. Both are in 12-18m clothing, size 4 diapers. Sleeping thru the night is still hit or miss. They eat almost all table foods now and still b/f every 4 hours (kill me).

Oakley: Vivacious. This child moved constantly in the womb and hasn't stopped since. She has extremely developed fine motor skills. She is determined and precise in everything she does. She never wants to sit still, but every now and then will stop everything, crawl to you and lay her head on your lap. She is a bully to R and holds her own with Treyson. She is his shadow and he just LOVES it. She is our physical one. Maybe carry a Roche athletic gene? Hates to sleep, but when she crashes, she crashes hard. She's obsessed with drawer handles, toilets, and ruining Trey's life (according to him). She also likes to growl. She kicks in her sleep. I don't know why, but it's funny. She is tough as nails and rarely cries...except when she's tired...then she screams...and screams...and screams till u let her stay up a half hour more. She is hilarious and keeps me on my toes. Love that little peanut

(did i mention she's growing hair like nobody's business! YEA!)
Reagan: Reagan is a chubby ball of fun. She is our verbal one and can already say more at 10m than T did at 22 months years....but who's comparing? "Ball. Cat. Dad. Ma. Hi" She's finally on the move, but moves at her own pace, stopping to smell the roses as she goes. She poops like 14 times a day, probably because she's obsessed with food. I'm not sure how to take it, being so used to kids who hate to eat. She can spy food/drink from across the house and moves faster than lightening to get to it. She wakes up smiling. She sleeps on her side, cuddled up with as many blankets as she can find. She is ALWAYS laughing, smiling squealing. Loves to take pictures and babbles constantly. She thinks T is the most funny thing in the world. She HATES getting dresses and is a fish in water. She really REALLY likes her mom, and I REALLY really like her.
(this pic is a perfect representation of her personality....

and her thighs)

Christmas Eve

Roche cousins with Aunt Kali
Oakley into everything.
Christmas Eve was at our house this year. It was rather relaxing and so fun to finally meet our new cousin, Brody. Treyson was his usual wild man self running wild and sneaking candy, telling us he "didn't want presents b/c Santa is scary". The girls were wondering why in the world their mother dressed them like Santa hookers.
