1. Bring extra diapers and wipes (more than the usual) and an extra outfit
2. Before getting to the airport, put all of your liquids in a ziplock bag so that you don't have to do that while going through security. It's so much easier to just pull out a bag.
3. Just to let you know--they will let you take sippies through, or bottles. If he is on formula, then you need to mix it before you go through security. They wont let you bring just water in the bottle. Pumped milk is fine. (side note-I've pumped on an airplane. Is that weird?)
3. The thing that helped me SO much was putting Kyle in a baby bjorn while going through security. This gave me both of my hands to fold up the stroller and take out the car seat.
4. I usually bring the stroller and car seat to the gate. You have to put tags on them at the counter at the gate. When I fly Southwest, the attendant will tell you if there is room for you to bring the car seat on the plane. If not, you can check it with the stroller when you're about to board. I love when I can bring the carseat because then I'm not holding Kyle the whole time. ** I have been told at the check-in counter that there is room for the car seat, and when I get to the gate there is no longer room because of stand-by people they let on. This happened once and I started balling because I didn't want my carseat to get trashed. Bring a plastic cover or something to put your seat in if you have to check it at the gate.
5. Don't forget toys! Try to have Treyson sucking on something for take off. It helps his ears. Maybe he's a good nurser, in which case you can nurse as you are taking off but Kyle was never that talented to nurse discretely in public.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any ?s

Awesome link!

Why not just use the water from a drinking fountain (or can you not use that) after you go through security?

I did it with flowers once. Of course flowers are much different than a baby!

Andrea these are awesome!! I made Noel like a dozen pairs when she was crawling they protected her little legs. I was toatlly addicted to them, she had to have one in every color and design. Of course Peter won't be able to use hers because they are so girly I'll have to make him some of his own.

... saw Natalie's comment. I was always bringing warm water with me for the bottle. I've also asked the flight attendants for warm water if you need more.
