Perhaps it's the heightened sense of smell during pregnancy, perhaps my house just reeks. Whatever the case....something smells funny in our home. Yankee candles are not doing the trick.
What do u use to make your house smell like home?
I need some ideas before I ralf/ralph/barf.
(PS I just read this again and realized sometimes I blog about REALLY stupid things.)

Well, you did live with a man who puts his hands inside of a cow anatomy.........
Check for potatoes that have slipped under the stove or in the back of the pantry. They make horrible smells. Behind the washer, dryer. Something is hidden somewhere that you can't see but sure can smell. Also, clean out the fridge and the trash can, too. I love Mr. Clean but being prego, you might just want to use vinegar and water.
Rule of thumb: don't cover up the smell, elminate it.
XOOXO
omg, i have had a huge smell problem since i was about 7 weeks. i have SUCH a heightened sense of smell too. i would suggest some thorough cleaning (thats what i always do when my house smells) including the fridge, garbage, floors, bathrooms, and even laundry. sometimes dirty laundry can start to smell.
other than that try febreeze. i loooove it and can never have enough.
I love love love the Bath and Body Works Sent ports plug ins. They are awesome my new favorite smell is called Leaves, but apple is also joyful!
scentsy. love it. recommend it to all.
I think I bought like 300 candles when I was pregnant trying to get rid of a nasty mysterious smell in our house. I was burning most of the candles during my sick phase and when I tried to use them after I was pregnant I almost threw up! Funky smells are inevitable when you are prego! One more wonderful side effect! :)
Ummm... try looking at the bottom of Trevor's boots? ha ha. Actually, butter can go rancid and it is one of the most foul things I have ever smelled. Happened once in my apartment at college and it took us FOREVER to figure it out.
I know it really is crazy all the people I know having boys!! Good luck with the smell thing! I just got some GREAT holiday potpouri(sp??) and it is making my whole house smell wonderful!
Okay so this totally reminds me of Apt. 64. Remember how sometimes it totally smelt like a guys apartment ugh. Anyways, it reminds me of the time Lacy and I wrote that letter from King Henry. You cried after we showed it to you, and Lacy and I had no idea what to do. I told her she had to tell you it was a joke, but I said NO WAY. She had to tell you. I ended up telling, and thank goodness you laughed. I felt bad... I felt really bad. I know I already said sorry, but I'm saying it again.
I love the oils from bath and body works. I just went to get a new one last weekend, and one of the employees gave me a coupon for a free item up to $13 if you spend at least $10. So I bought a an oil warmer too - http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2787632&cp=2484529.2488773.2186950&parentPage=family
If you end up getting this though, make sure you get some good tealight candles. I didn't want to buy the 30 pack for $5 because Wal-mart has the 50 pack for $2. Well I was so unbelievably stupid to do that because the scent isn't as strong :( Although, if you have a heightened sense of smell then that might not be a bad idea.
PS - I love your mom! Oh, and you too of course!
it's 7 am and you aren't online. i'm disappointed and lonely.
oh trust me he wanted to. and almost did. :)
Scentsy smell so good! We also like Salt City candles. I tagged you Six Quirks. Come on, you've got to have some...
Two more ideas:
Trapp Candles
Liquid Potpourri from Walmart and a small crockpot. Turn it on, fill it up and enjoy!
