Good Weekend.

My little angel.
Obsessed w/carousels. He's figured out what they are. Points at all the different horses and says "DOG!"
Classic Parma. WHAT is this float?
Attempting to eat the candy through the wrapper.
Showing off the goods.
SO excited!
I have to be honest and say, most weekends are not very exciting here. Trevor works every Saturday and Sundays are cows, meetings, church, more meetings and naps. :) I've found myself often so sad we're not a family doing stuff together that I usually just stay home with Treyson. However, I have realized lately, maybe it is selfish of me. Sure, I don't prefer the situation of single momhood, but Treyson needs to be able to do stuff. Especially as he gets older and actually cares. SOOO...this Saturday, we went to yard sales (deserves a post of its own), went to the Parma "Old Fort Boise Days" parade, rode the carousel for a ridiculous amount of money, and finally rocked it like a single mom at a friends' sushi party (where Trevor eventually showed up).

Turned out to be SUCH a fun day.

(I was so busy snapping photos I didn't realize I was on some weird setting so excuse the strange lighting.)

Sunday Mornings

(ridiculous photo will not flip)

Trevor's hair is wet. not greasy.

That's what I love about Sunday:
Cat-napping on the porch swing;
You curled up next to me,
The smell of jasmine wakes us up.
Take a walk down a back road,
Tackle box and a cane pole;
Carve our names in that white oak,
An' steal a kiss as the sun fades,
That's what I love about Sunday

Graduation

After our Kansas trip, my parents came back out with us to Parma for my brother Logan's graduation (remember. he was living w/us for his senior year...) Trevor's sister, Kali, also graduated. It was fun to have both of our WHOLE families there to celebrate. Treyson is very close to Uncle Logan and Aunt Kali as he has seen them almost every day his first year of life. It will be sad for him not to have them around. Kali is on full ride to UVU for basketball. Logan will be doing high jump for BYU! (yes, athleticism is in every family member but this here blonde.)

(No one knew this, but I was bawling thru all of this. Hence, why I might appear disheveled. My family was leaving. Logan was leaving. ugh)
no one makes treyson happier than Kali.
Treyson was being very loud through the whole ceremony. All 40 graduates. Or something like that. The best part of the whole day was watching the 50 year old drunk women w/bubbies hanging out of her dress bought from the LIMITED TOO, sit next to her husband with the handlebar mustache and blow her blow horn as loudly as possible as each name was announced. Ya. her kid was probably LOVING that.

I am so behind on posting. (I had lost my camera cord! Now found!) So be sure to read the few posts below too!

Country Boy

This man child truly lives every boys dreams. I think he is more connected to the cattle than his mother. (Hmmmmm...sounds like someone else I know!) As hard as it is for this city girl to be surrounded by fields, and poop....I know, on days like these, we are where we are supposed to.

There are so many GOOD things about small towns. People are nicer. There is no pressure to wear the latest styles or have the biggest house. You can go to the market without make up and still be the best looking person there - simply because you have all your teeth and you bathe and you aren't on meth. I'm joking. sort of. (Trevor says the town is going downhill). Anyway. Treyson loves it. He loves going to work with dad and "helping".

Easter 2010

We spent Easter at Trevor's parents.
(our sorry attempt at family photos. It was bright and squinty eyes make us look fat. And Treyson likes the dog more than us.)
The stinking Easter Bunny snuck out and bought this child a $40 TRUCK. (Just so we're aware. I will not buy anything full price. Except Tampons.) The Easter Bunny got a talking to.
And our spoiled child spend most of his day, on the ground. Throwing fits due to no nap.
He really "got" the meaning of Easter.

Park Days

We've been meeting friends at the park lately. Treyson still isn't sure what to do around so many kids. Most of them are older, and haul him around, doing "my job" while I sit and chat with friends. Works awesome! I've noticed his personality changing a little lately. He was always goofy smily and happy as a little babe, but now he seems to be more serious and observant. Maybe it's just the age. It's like he's absorbing everything around him and getting smarter by the minute.....AND he REFUSES to look at the camera. (sigh) At least he has the cutest profile around.
And PS. Does he not have a GREAT head of hair? We have officially PERFECTED the spike.

Apogee

Life is really good lately. Maybe that's why I'm not blogging as much. I really have nothing to blog about.

We aren't doing anything. We aren't going anywhere. We aren't doing any awesome family activities. In fact, Trevor has been swamped shipping cattle (He's done this weekend! YEA!) But, despite all of that, we are content. I don't know why. That's very unlike me.

Maybe it's the sunny weather. Maybe it's the fact Trevor took Treyson to work with him for 6 hours so I could go to yard sales (Im obsessed) and when I picked him up, Treyson screamed and screamed b/c he wanted his dad. He loves his dad. So do I. Maybe it's this little face:
