Day of Love

Have I mentioned I married a chef? Seriously. He is TEN times the cook I am.

The girls are finally starting to take notice of each other and it's so awesome. Treyson ate FAR too much sugar (as did I). The girls got new car seats. Can you tell which twin is the dominant one? Size means NOTHING. Trevor made me the best dinner ever and then let me go to bed and didn't even complain. THATS LOVE.

Airport

Flying back and forth from Kansas wasn't half as bad as I thought it might be. I'm sure the people sitting next to us would disagree, but whatever! Treyson loved loved LOVED riding on a plane. And, plug here for Southwest Airlines. They are amazing. So helpful. So aware of our needs. AMAZING. They found out it was T's bday on our trip home and let him sit in the cockpit. I think I was more excited than him!

Models

I wasn't aware I birthed supermodels.

While the Men Folk are Away....

I am SOO lucky that Trevor can often take Treyson to work with him. Usually 1-2/7 mornings a week Treyson is with Trevor. I honestly do not know how T would function without these days. He gets SO bored, and starts to act out as a result, here at home. I try a thousand different things to keep him active here, but he STILL gets bored. He just wants to be outside, running around, "working". I don't, for a second, blame him. I know it has provided him with opportunities to grow on his own and build his relationship with his best friend, Dad. I'm sad I'm not as "fun" as dad, but the babies are a full time job.

Yesterday, he was able to go with dad to move cattle. He is quite the twister.

And the while the boys are away, the girls get to play. We've been working on walking. Surprisingly, R is doing better at walking. Total surprise since O has been the athletic one from day one. She's super crawler, and just doesn't see the point in walking when she can get there quicker crawling

Is reagan NOT the most photogenic baby ever? Sometimes I feel bad because I have 1490893 pictures of her and not as many of O. O is honestly equally as pretty, but she takes HORRIBLE pictures. ;) Just like her mama!

Another Dog

Oh, look. The happy, pantless children bonding.

Looks are deceiving. She is not cute. She is the devil.

R, aka Cinderella, is our animal whisperer.

Treyson is growling like the dog. He thinks he is half dog. Team Jacob.

Oakley is a harsher critic. NOT amused. She has my genes.

Have I ever mentioned the fact I REALLY don't like animals? I'm cold and heartless and live with thousands of cows. Honestly, I just feel like animals stink and have no emotional attachment to them. I like people. Not animals. Animals (and some people....) shed, poop on your floor, and require more responsibility than I already have. This is partially due to the fact Trevor is not the best caretaker. (His 3 year old dog has had one bath since he was born. Courtesy of me.)

So, when our dog, Jag, went and knocked up the skanky feed lot dog, I immediately expressed to Trevor that we would NOT be getting another canine. Trevor, pulled a husband, and brought one home anyway. He claimed, since it was Jag's offspring, she was family. "It" proceeded to poop in my garage (where it resides). Trevor, knowing I would be mad, immediately brought the dog inside to create emotional attachments from my soft hearted children.

I hate his cold tactics.

Now, I can't say no or I will rip out their little, youthful hearts.. Now, I am stuck with another dog. She has no name and the names I suggested I do not want my three children repeating.

Trevor has additionally informed me, he gets to have one less dog than the number of kids we have. He wants 6 kids. I informed him, if he EVER had 5 dogs, he would be moving back in with his mother.

Time

Time is moving on hyperspeed.
To think, three years ago, I had just jumped into motherhood (a week past due date mind you) and was carrying this little elf child around. I had no clue. No clue. I still don't, but my heart walks around in the form of a white haired, flat footed, loving boy. A boy who likes to talk about poop, farts, buzz light year, tractors, cows and hates to eat. A boy who melts our hearts by singing "You are my Sunshine" and " I Am A Child of God". A boy who is so protective of his sisters when we're in public, and mean as snot when they touch his stuff. A boy who sneaks in our bed EVERY night and asks to go to Costco and Target daily. A boy who still PROMISES Jesus comes into our house at night. A boy who starts every story he tells about his day with "Once upon a time." A boy who weighs a meer 30 lbs (on a fat day) and never stops running. and talking. and moving. A boy who can spell his name and write out "TRY", and always forgets to draw the "E" because it's "too hard". A boy who is 100% convinced 8 comes after 4. A boy who tells his mom he loves her to the moon, and the sun. A boy who calls his dad his best friend and thinks MiMi is on every airplane we see. A little, tiny, big hearted, moon dough loving, Lester watching, boy who makes me want to make about 780937289473 more babies (while simultaneously causing me to lose my mind).

Can you tell I'm a tad bit obsessed with him?

El Salvador

Most of our activities while in KC involved food. So much in fact, I legitimately GAINED 5 lbs. No joke. It was awesome. One night, we ALL went to this El Salvadorian resteraunt that my parents raved about. It was a fun, family atmosphere, but I thought the food was horrible (sorry mom! You can still love it!). I could be eating poop and still be happy with my WHOLE family there though!

Fritz's

While in KC, we took Treyson to Fritz's cute little dining establishment with horrible food, but wonderful atmosphere. Toy trains DELIVER your food. I think trevor and I thought it was cooler than Treyson. He was a little freaked out that teh train was going to drop our french fries. So fun!

Home

Just spent the best week with my family at my parents house in kansas. I have not felt that "complete" in a long time. All of it was amazing, but having Trevor there 24/7 for 6 days was the best part. I was seriously giddy about it the whole time. I would give anything for more of that time, but real life continues. Lots of pictures to come.
