the 10198 Reason my Sister in Law is Amazing

MiMi with treysonjohn.

As you all might know, I'm a huge fan of my sister in law. Kali is perfect for my brother. I always thought I would HATE any girl who married him because none would be worthy. I was, oh, so wrong. She is fantastic and also bore:
My favorite neice in the universe.
And, she is also the most fantastic photographer. I don't know how she does it, but I am so grateful she did. Did I mention she's reallly REALLY hot and every man in Provo wanted her? 9It's true. I have some more amazing photos of Treyson which I otherwise would not. Heaven knows we can take a dang good picture of a cow, but our son? Not so much. Thanks Kali! Love you!

Kal. this picture is AMAZING.

Randoms...

Lots of new posts below~!

I realize this picture makes me look deamonic; however, this was a special moment for me. A moment in which I realized, I am not ready for another child. Just kick me when I announce I'm pregnant again some day.

Is my neice not the cutest thing ever>?

Wet.

Dirty

Treyson likes to get dirty now and play in the heat ALL DAY. It's taking a little getting used to for me. I totally hate sweating. I think, if I had straighter hair, I would be okay with it. It's just my hair kinks up to it's true FRO stage when wet. I know. I totally sound like a wuss, but it's the truth.

I digress.

Now Treyson's cute outfits are usually found, wet and muddy. He's a disaster. He is all boy. Except for the fact he likes to do his hair. That is questionable.

Gage Park

Gage Park in Topeka, Kansas is a hidden treasure. One, I am SO glad my mom found. We had the best day there with my brothers' family and even Treyson's great great grannie, who also happens to be my best friend. It was, dare I say, PERFECT. Those days are far and few between but they are so precious to me.

Getting Cultured

I really want Treyson to have a little culture in him, despite growing up on a ranch. I know he'll probably hate every moment of it as a boy; but, it's important to start him young! Today, we went to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. If you are ever there, please go. It's beautiful. Just don't go after 4pm or you will find yourself instead, enjoying the lawns.

Cupcakes

My hometown has a little cupcake shoppe called "Smallcakes". I ordered a coconut dream flavored cupcake. My mom ordered a Hostess cupcake.

Neither of us got more than a little bite.

Perhaps, I am leading my child towards adult obesity.
(Lots of blogging to do. I am so behind!)

T.J.

I found this picture tonight, and it made me smile. i really needed to smile.
I've never been away from Treyson longer than a couple hours. I never want to be.
I love the love one feels as a mother. I hope you all feel that way. or get to some day.
It's the most powerful emotion on this Earth. I know it.
I haven't slept lately. Isn't that strange?
I just can't stop my brain from racing at night, thinking about how every decision I make on this Earth directly affects the life Treyson will live.
it makes my intestines twist.

Treyson and the Chocolate Covered Strawberry

(We had a gift card to Tucanos, so went for dinner Sat night. Treyson stole the flower off the table!)

I have not seen Treyson this excited about a food item EVER! His feeling towards most food make me wonder if I wasn't implanted with some other woman's child aka. I eat everything. Too much of everything in fact.

Up and Running Ramblings

For those were so concerned (uuuh..my mom?), we now have FULL service internet and this means the blogging and updates and pictures can ensue. That is, if I can find my camera cord. BLAST. (Yes, I'm a hot mess). We haven't had real internet in over two years. We've just picked up the city's, unreliable, unexistant, wireless. It was free, but it never worked. I spent more time walking around with my lap top, trying to pick up signal than I would like to admit.

SO more soon.....Life is good here. Trevor is nearing the end of busy season (June can't come fast enough). If anyone would like to come help brand calves, I would love you forever! I want the dang thing finished. Treyson is walking and getting into everything. I wish he would say more words, but he has full convos with you in his special language. I need a translator.

I am reading. I go through phases where I read everything I can get my hands on. If you need a few good books, read "These Is My Words" or the UGLIES series. So good. I have also been running a lot. I am a horrible runner. I probably look like a fool, but I feel good after. Yesterday, I almost was run over by a tractor. Not kidding. And as a result, I learned, my bladder will never be the same post-Treyson. My ovaries are calling. But, we're waiting for a few reasons. My dad came to visit. My little brother is going to BYU Provo to run (Jump!) track. Next Wednesday, Treyson and I are flying to Kansas for TWO weeks. I almost feel guilty for leaving Trevor, but not THAT guilty! So excited. If anyone has tips for flying with a 15 month old, please do share.

Here are a few snaps from the point and shoot. (It was WINDY!)Hanging with Papa.
