Out for a few days.

http://www.keywestcattleservices.com/

Feel free to come down to Spanish Fork Friday/Saturday to see what it's all about. Trevor will be hard at work. I'll be bored out of my mind.

Update on Pregnancy

that about sums it up.

Spooky dinner.

The Ponder family has a tradition of having a "spooky" Halloween dinner. We have Spooghetti with green brains and bloody gut sauce, drink witches brew etc etc. The best part is, we use our hands as untensils and are allowed to eat "rudely." I remember my father frequently "puking" up his food and then re eating it. Every child's dream night!

I figured, since Trevor has been struggling with holiday spirit, we'd carry this tradition on. We couldn't do it on actual Halloween night since we'll be at a cattle sale, so tonight was the night. It was nothing as elaborate as my Mom's dinner. It was totally ghetto, "we are broke and live out of boxes" and I only have an hour after work to plan style. I ran and got some cheap dollar bin Target Halloween decorations, turned all the lights out, lit a ton of candles and turned on some spooky music. Oh, and dressed in all black.

Trevor was a bit surprised when he got home. I told him he had to put a costume on (he smelled like cows). He immediately stripped down to his undies and said "IM ADAM!"
It took him awhile to warm up to the idea of not using a fork and give into the slurps, burps and messy faces....but I think I broke ground people. He might have actually had fun.

Sorry these pics are awful. It was pitch black.

PS You'll notice there are no pictures of me. This is because they are far too scary even for Halloween.

Something is happening to my husband.

I seriously think my husband is going thru a midlife crisis. I call him my Jehovah's witness because he hates celebrating any holiday...including Halloween. He won't dress up. He won't go to a pumpkin patch. He won't attend any haunted houses.
This picture totally depicts everything about his mood lately!

amazing.

I hope you like the taste of breast milk.

PETA. They probably hate me since my families livelihood rests upon the shoulder of their fuzzy four legged friends.

They are now looking out for all the poor cows, by providing you with high quality human breast milk in your 1/2 cup serving of Ben and Jerrys. Or at least wanting it to happen.

Freakin sick.

I googled "Peta breast milk" to find a picture and this puppy popped up. IF YOU ARE A RANDOM MaN READING THIS....YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LOOK. SO, here's a shout out to Selma and her perfect boobs. Yes, I'm that shallow.

Truth be Told

Someone, whom I know very well and adore, recently made a comment along the lines of "Do you and Trevor ever DO anything?" (aka your blog is starting to suck)

The answer is no. Really. We have no lives. I work 8-5. He goes to school 8-5. He comes home and talks on the phone to cattle guys from around the nation for seriously HOURS. I blog. Or watch Oprah/Greys/Food Network. Or read. Or wash cow poop covered clothes. Or look for more stretch marks. Or shop online for baby clothes.

We do go on walks. Almost nightly. He complains incessently after the first 400 meters. I push him to walk longer - mostly because I keep thinking about the literal pan of brownies I, I mean Trey, ate over the past 3 days.

But in reality, we have no lives as of late. We don't go on fun vacations. We aren't buying a house. We can't decorate our rental really. SO...if anyone else feels like they have a boring life, just know, so do the Roches.

And we're really happy about it!

Nothing like a kick in the crotch.

Yesterday and today, Treyson has decided to rotate into what seems, a standing position. His kicking is no longer outward but downward - right at my bladder/crotch. Awesome.

A ton of my friends w/kids have been on me about taking more pictures of my belly. I succumbed, and took some today - but to be honest - I'm really not getting the whole "pregnancy is beautiful" thing; thus, I avoid such photo shoots.

For some reason, our new camera is sucking majorally so ignore the wierd lines.
26 weeks. No, I'm not having twins. And if my pants look weird, it's because they are undone. I walk around daily with undone pants. It's quite liberating.

My face isn't too chubby yet. I'm sure by Christmas, I'll be rockin the double chin. Like father, like daughter.
Thanks Uncle Logan for the sweet shirt.

MEET THE PONDERS.

Tonight, I'm missing my family. Even my little sister, whom, although we live in the same city, always seems to choose cute boys over me. (Strange, isn't it?) Meet the Ponders.

KALI THIS PIC IS FOR U!

For Mom(s)

I can't seem to KICK this fluish/coldish/west nile virus type and its frusterating the heck out of me. Then, to make things awesomer, I have had bouts of nausea the last few days. Yummy barf. Oh, and some lady at the temple asked if I was having twins. Sweet - fat.

So tonight, when Trev was at his basketball game and I was watching the ridiculous debate, I broke down in tears (again, not a rarity). The only person I really wanted (sorry Trev) was my mom.
24 years old. Lived away from home for 6 years. Still want my mom.

Then, as I wiped away the snot (for you visual learners), I had a thought.

I'm almost a mom now. Now someone needs me.

Oh, shiz.

School's Out

So I'm not teaching this week because schools are out in this area of Idaho. Why you ask?

SPUD HARVEST WEEK!!
School is out for a week so kids can go pick spuds. How random is that? (Idaho is strange). I considered going and helping but I'm getting to the "awkward bending over stage" and figured it wouldn't be too pleasant to get stuck in a bending position.

AND PS. I need some crafty projects and books to work on this week with Trev out of town (cattle buying in Wisconsin). Ideas please!?!?!

Trevor's Musings

My husband is hilarious. Well, I think he is....Note said conversation:

Trevor: Andrea, I think this whole pregnancy deal is making your boobs grow.

Andrea: Well, I guess. That happens as your body prepares to produce milk.

Trevor: Sick. Good thing they're growing. I was afraid our kid was going to starve with those boobs.

**NOTE - I have discovered bigger boobs = bigger butt. Hey, can't win 'em all.**
PS. Sorry about the lack of "exciting" posts. We don't do much but work and school lately.
